Sisterhood
Sisterhood is the strongest bond that our sisters share. It is friendship based on love, honor, and truth. We spend time together laughing, working, playing, eating, dancing, and sometimes crying. We support each other through the good times and bad. We built a support system to last for a lifetime encouraging each other to live a vibrant lifestyle and achieve our personal best. It is a bond that lasts far beyond our college years, because these girls are friends for life. We are a family that is boned together by our Fraternity, its founding ideals, and core values. These memories made in Phi Mu are for a lifetime.
These events allow us to enjoy quality time with our sisters and have fun!
BID DAY:
Bid Day is the best day! After new members receive their bids from Phi Mu, the entire chapter gathers together to welcome and celebrate with our new sisters as they put their ΦΜ letters on for the first time! It is an unforgettable day that our new members get their first experience in our sisterhood!
SISTERHOOD RETREATS:
A Delta Zeta favorite! Sisters take time out of their busy academic and extracurricular schedules to come together for games, bonding, and team-building exercises. Freshman through Senior Phi Mus love our retreats. They have included a trip to Camp Kern, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden and Perfect North Slopes.
FOUNDER'S DAY:
On March 4th our chapter members and alumnae from the Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter of Phi Mu gather together to recognize our founder's with an open ritual ceremony. We celebrate Phi Mu's history and values while sharing their own Phi Mu experiences with one another.
CHAPTER MEETINGS:
Our weekly chapter meetings are the perfect time for to help our sisters grow to become the best woman they can become. Not only do we discuss important Phi Mu topics like Ritual, Academic Excellence, and the Phi Mu Foundation, but we also host informative guest speakers and programs that help our members prepare for the real world. Some of these programs include body image, goal setting, etiquette, interview 101, and personal responsibility.
